Overview:
• Protecting people and locations from harassment, physical attack, vandalism, and other forms of abusive or unauthorized treatment.
• Ensuring that your weapon is well maintained and secure at all times.
• Utilizing your weapon in times of extreme attack when non-violent options have been exhausted.
• Attending refresher training in weapons use, if applicable.
• Completing and submitting incident reports after noteworthy developments.
• Recording the details of persons who visits the facility, if applicable.
• Ensuring that security equipment and measures are suitable, and that they remain in excellent working condition at all times.
• Implementing new security measures, when required.
• Ensuring that your uniform remains clean and well-maintained, and that you wear it while on duty.
• Maintain a professional image, positive attitude, and good guest relations.
• Developing relationships with police, fire and ambulance services.
• Responding to alarms and emergencies.
• Conducting security checks.
• Preventing unauthorized access to the premises.
• Detaining violators.
• Documenting shift activities and writing reports.
SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION: This position is designated as "Safety Sensitive Position" under Act 593 of the State of Arkansas. An employee who is under the influence of Marijuana constitutes a threat to patients/customers which G6 Security is responsible for in providing security care related services.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Pass State Police CSO/CSSO qualifying Duty Weapon course
• Completion of required training and attainment/renewal of Commissioned Security Officer and or Commissioned School Security Officer license that is required every two years
• Clear criminal record.
• Clean driving record.
• Strong commitment to the well-being of others.
• Excellent decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work calmly and efficiently, particularly when under duress.
• Neat, professional appearance.
• Capacity to work on your feet for extended periods.
• Ability to work morning, evening, and night shifts.
• CPR/AED Training-AHA Heartsaver Course or RQI Responder within 90 days of employment
• Attend training on range and classroom yearly.
Other education and experience may be substituted (if applicable) for the required minimum job qualifications with the approval of the Corporate Director of Human Resources.
